I have a debt and, as a result, my child allowance is offset every month. Will my debt be also repaid from savings plan moneys?

The monthly deposit to the savings cannot be reduced nor offset under any circumstances.

If you are subject to offsets on child allowance due to debt toward the National Insurance Institute, you will not be able to make additional deposit of NIS 57 (as of Jan 01, 2024) to double savings, until you settle the debt. To settle the debt, please contact the telephone call center at *6050.
Besides, by law, the savings plan may not be subject to foreclosure.
